Imago Medical specializes in PRP treatments in the Salt Lake City area. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is performed by taking your own blood, spinning it to remove the plasma and platelets, to be re-injected into the needed areas. These blood components contain cytokines and other growth factor proteins that promote healing and repair of skin and hair.
In addition, by adding your fibrinogen from the plasma (PRF), and heating and cooling the PRF into a gel, we are able to make a safe natural facial filler from your own blood components for risk free restoration of volume to key areas of the face. Results like filler without any foreign substances.

PRP/PRF BioGel, also known as plasma filler, is a new breakthrough in PRP technology. It allows the use of your own plasma components to make a filler for volume restoration in the face instead of using traditional fillers.
PRP/PRF BioGel allows the same creation of collagen to increase volume using your own physiologic elements. This means no foreign substance, less uneven results, and no risk of the rare but devastating filler embolism to an artery.
You also get all the advantages of skin rejuvenation from PRP and more natural results than fillers provide.
How It Is Done
Additional Benefits
PRP is the preferred treatment for the inferior orbital, or under the eyes area. Is PRP safe for under the eyes? Absolutely. It accomplishes the increase in volume many seek from filler, but with less risk and added improvements to the skin color and health as well. Filler under the eyes carries a higher risk of injection into arterial vessels that can results in damage to skin or blindness. While these risks are low with filler, PRP carries no such risks and is more advantageous.
